Discovered by Howard Carter in 1922, Tutankhamun ascended to the throne at age nine and reigned during a tumultuous period. The sculpture features Tut’s signature headcloth adorned with the royal insignia of a cobra and vulture, symbolizing his rule over Upper and Lower Egypt.
